Klamath Ice Sports Inc. and the Bill Collier Community Ice Arena are currently accepting employment applications and resumes for a variety of positions. We are seeking bright, energetic, enthusiastic, hard-working, team players to join our amazingly awesome staff. Interested persons need be at least sixteen years of age, possess reliable (and winter worthy) transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a current Oregon food handler’s permit. CPR/AED/First Aid is a requirement of all supervisory positions and above; these certifications are encouraged for all employees. All potential employees must pass a criminal background screening as well as a pre-employment drug screening.
Training begins October 19th and work begins with ice making the weekend of October 26th.
We are open seven days/week from Friday, November 2, 2012 through March 31, 2013, including holidays; our holiday schedule is separate from our regular staff schedule and all team members share in the holiday work schedule.
- Prior ice arena experience is preferred but not expected.
- Current openings include two full-time positions (35-40 hours/week) and three part-time positions (10 – 20 hours/week). College small business management internships are also available.
- Full-time positions – preference will be given to people with an educational background in small business or recreation management
- Part-time positions – to include birthday party hosting duties – gregarious personalities and prior experience working with young children preferred
