Adult Hockey League
We will provide an environment of fun, education, camaraderie and exercise.
Would you like to get some exercise and have some fun in an awesome outdoor setting? If your answer is yes, then you should sign up to play the COOLEST game on Earth….ice hockey. Our recreational league is co-ed and all ability levels are welcome. Derek Martin serves as our Director of Adult and Youth Hockey.
To be eligible for the draft, all players need to sign up and pay their fees by 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 6, 2010. Online registration and fee payment is encouraged – updated information will be posted later this summer. Team captains, under the direction of Derek Martin, will put together teams based upon skater abilities. Team captains will then contact their players and let them know which team they have been assigned to and which ice slot they will have on Sunday, November 7, 2010, the first official day of league play. The Thursday night ice slot, or the Skills/Drills/Scrimmage slot, will be turned into a game slot this year. KIS will host two AHL games on Sunday evenings and one game on Thursday evenings; some weeks your team will have two games and other weeks your team will have one game. Referees have been added back into the mix; all players will owe their team captain $20 each at the start of the season to cover referee fees.
Players who plan to join the league for the second half of the season should contact the arena for information about team placement.
