Curling rocks and beginning November curling will rock Klamath Falls!
Thanks to an a special donor, Klamath Ice Sports (KIS) ordered two sets of curling stones from the USCA. We need your help paying for the second set of stones and associated equipment.
Meanwhile, take advantage of the opportunities at hand and see if you can catch some of the television footage from the recent Vancouver 2010 winter Olympic curling events. Then clear your calendar for the weekend of November 5th when the ice arena reopens and KIS hosts Curling Open Houses! Beginning Thursday, October 21st, you will be able to reserve space in our Curling Open Houses via our Secure Online Registration System. Registration is free but donations are encouraged.
Once the skating season is underway we will offer weekly ‘drop-in’ style curling sessions; as interest builds curlers will be able to rent the ice for their own curling teams.
Check back often for updates about our soon-to-be new program = C U R L I N G!
