Hockey
Klamath Ice Sports offers a seasonal hockey program November through March each year. League hockey is available for ages 5+. Adult Beginner Hockey is the perfect session for those new to the sport. Instruction is included and there is equipment to rent (sometimes to borrow). This session is FUN and all adults are encouraged to try Adult Beginner Hockey! Adults wanting more of a challenge should stop by our Drop In Hockey sessions. Pond Hockey is the perfect session for youth or families who want to play hockey on a drop in basis (the word on the street is this is a totally FUN session to).
Klamath Ice Sports provides the opportunity for players, from 4 years of age to adults, to enjoy the sport of Hockey. There are various Hockey programs such as the Learn to Skate and Play, Squirt teams, Varsity teams and Adult League. The Hockey program was kicked off with the support of the National Hockey League Players Association. With the equipment provided by the NHLPA, kids in the Klamath Basin can join the sport of Hockey at a very affordable cost. This is not a typical scenario as equipment costs to new players typically range $550 – $950. All of our coaches are USA Hockey trained. The sport of Hockey is fast and dynamic. Got Hockey?
