Klamath Ice Sports offers a seasonal hockey program November through March each year. League hockey is available for ages five through adult. Adults wanting a challenge should stop by our Drop In Hockey sessions. Pond Hockey is the perfect session for youth or families who want to play hockey on a drop in basis (the word on the street is this is a totally FUN session to).

Klamath Ice Sports provides the opportunity for players, from five years of age to adults, to enjoy the sport of hockey. We offer various programs such as the Learn to Skate, Learn to Skate and Play, Atom/Mite team and more. Children and adults in the Klamath Basin can join the sport of hockey at a very affordable cost.  This is not a typical scenario as equipment costs to new players typically range $550 – $950.  Our coaches are USA Hockey certified as are our officials.  The sport of hockey is fast and dynamic. Special Hockey Seminars During Veterans’ Day Weekend 2011

Join Tanis Gehrke and Duane Moffard from Alberta, Canada, on Saturday, November 12th and Sunday, November 13th!  Tanis is a NCCP Level One Hockey Coach, Level two Coach Mentor, and a Certified Power Skating Instructor.  She has her triple gold medal accomplishments in figure skating as well.  Dueane is a former junior and senior hockey player and is a NCCP Level One Hockey Coach and a Level Two CoachMentor as well.

Saturday, November 12th, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – Hockey Player Seminar – Ages Squirt through Adult.  $59 per person; you can register by phone (541) 850-5758 ext. 7 or online via our secure registration site (click on the ‘Register Online’ icon on the top of our home page).  Join Tanis and Duane for power skating and hockey drills to include proper body contact and checking skills….edge control…foot speed…acceleration…forward and backward striding….drill progression.  Space is limited so don’t wait – register now!
