The Klamath Falls Ice Hawks beat the Crater Comets 9-8 in their first game in a hard fought battle at the RRrink in Medford. Goal tender Tony Watters had a shut out in game two and the Ice Hawks went 4-0 against South Medford. They beat South Medford again on Friday, December 18th, 5-3, with senior goalie Damien Pulley in the net. In their fourth game, the Ice Hawks went on to beat North Medford 11 -2, on Friday, January 8th, at the RRrink. Game five on Saturday, January 9th, had Damien Pulley in the net for his first shut out of the season and the Ice Hawks beat the North Medford Black Tornados 7-0. Game six, on Friday, January 22nd, the Ice Hawks posted their first loss of the regular season - 3-6 to the Crater Comets. Game seven, vs. South, the Hawks lost 1-2. Game eight, on Saturday, January 30th, the Ice Hawks beat the Crater Comets 4 to 3 in a shoot out! Game nine, on Wednesday, February 3rd, the Ice Hawks lost a very close game to the South Medford Panthers, 2:3 after an incredible night in the net by senior goalie Damien Pulley. Game ten on our home ice sheet, the Hawks beat the Churchill Lancers 8:2. Saturday, February 6th, found the Ice Hawks at the RRrink in Medford where they shut out the Crater Comets 4:0; senior goalie Damien Pulley skated out and scored the first Hawk goal of the night and goalie Tony Watters had the shut out. Game 12 on Wednesday, February 10th, Senior goalie was in the net for a 12:0 shut out of the North Medford Tornado. Games 13 and 14 were played at Lane Events Center in Eugene against the Churchill Lancers on February 19th and 20th. The Ice Hawks ended the season with two wins: 7:2 and 6:1. Goalie Damien Pulley skated out in game 13 and scored a goal; Goalie Tony Watters skated out in game 14 and scored a goal as well.
