Youth Hockey

Klamath Ice Sports offers recreational youth hockey programs for ages five through eighteen. The season begins in November and goes through the beginning of March each year.

Learn To Skate/Learn To Skate and Play

Players new to the game of hockey begin with our Learn to Skate class and then progress to our Learn to Skate and Play Hockey class.  Upon graduation from the classes the new players can choose to join the appropriate age level team.  We offer Learn to Skate classes on both Tuesday/Thursdays and Saturdays.  Learn to Skate and Play classes are offered on Tuesdays/Thursdays.

Edges Class

During our Saturday group skating lessons we offer an Edges class for intermediate skaters.  This class is all about improving use of your edges which will in turn improve your control, power and speed.  If you want to be a better skater and perhaps a more competitive hockey player, this class is for you!

Youth Hockey Leagues

Our 2016/17 season information will be coming soon!  Please note that we will have an In House Youth Hockey Program (no travel) for ages 10 and under AND a Travel Youth Hockey Program.  Tanis Gehrke will be here November 18, 19, 20 to teach her Competitive Edge Hockey Camps for all of our travel hockey youth (others can register for an additional fee).  We are very excited to welcome Tanis et al back!
