Youth Hockey Progression-
Learn to Skate | Learn to Skate & Play | In House League | Rec/Travel League
Klamath Ice Sports offers recreational youth hockey programs for ages five through eighteen. The season begins in November and goes through the beginning of March each year.
Learn To Skate/Learn To Skate and Play
Players new to the game of hockey begin with our Learn to Skate class and then progress to our Learn to Skate and Play Hockey class. Upon graduation from the classes the new players can choose to join the appropriate age level team. Once weekly Learn to Skate classes are offered on Tuesdays OR Thursdays. Twice weekly Learn to Skate and Play classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
During Session Two of our Saturday group skating lessons we will offer an Edges class for intermediate skaters. This class is all about improving use of your edges which will in turn improve your control, power and speed. If you want to be a better skater and perhaps a more competitive hockey player, this class is for you!
Just choose the team by age group using the League 'drop down' menu and you can view the home practice, scrimmage, and game schedules.
